A Mission With Eternal Vision
Behind every community we serve, there’s a legacy of faith, action, and unwavering hope. Here’s how it began—and why it matters.
Our Story
Pillar Missions, the global outreach arm of Pillar Ministries (founded in 1901), advances Gospel-centered transformation through education, churches, and humanitarian aid. Since 1963 in Liberia, we’ve planted schools, clinics, and churches while responding to crises like wars and Ebola. Today, we empower the Liberian-led Pillar of Fire denomination by training leaders, strengthening schools, and fueling evangelism in underserved regions. Our vision is to raise indigenous Ambassadors for Christ to spread the Gospel across Liberia and beyond. We believe God has uniquely equipped you to join this 120-year mission of hope and discipleship. Will you answer the call to be part of this movement?

Called to Serve: THE STEWARDS OF PILLAR MISSIONS
Partners & Sponsors
None of our work would be possible without the faithful support of churches, business, education, and medical organizations, and the individuals who share our sense of urgency to change lives for Christ. Through strategic partnerships and generous sponsorship, we amplify our impact – building schools, equipping pastors, and reaching communities throughout Liberia and beyond with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Apostle Paul reminds us that “We are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building,” (1 Corinthians 3:9). Together, we can do far more for those we serve across the global mission field—and in the process, God uses our sacrificial kindness and generosity to transform us, shaping us more and more into the image of His Son, Jesus.
